This is an interesting and fun read! It’ll keep you on the edge of your seat!
An engaging and well researched intricate historical novel.The central theme of the life of Francis Bacon and his role as the most likely writer of works attributed to Shakespeare, is well supported by many sub themes. These include evolution , religion, masonry, faith and science and fascinating detailed conspiracies.Whilst not always scientifically supportable these themes will appeal to all lateral thinkers and their content should be included in mainstream teaching to encourage young people to question established and often indoctrinated thinking.
This book should be snapped up by a major publisher to ensure exposure to a wider audience.
It deserves to be a best seller!
Interesting conspiracy theory ala The Da Vinci Code. This one runs from Christ thru the Merovingians (though I question that bloodline, skipping from Christ's love child straight to Merovich hundreds of years later), through the Tudor family and Shakespeare.
Still, a good conspiracy read. Lots of photos and purported documentation.

My copy of this book is a slightly older edition (2014), with apparently, several more pages. This book is a combination of a history of Sir Francis Bacon as the secret author of Shakespeare's writings, and as the secret son of Queen Elizabeth the First, and which history alternates in chapters with a fictional story of the modern day heroine's search for information about Sir Francis Bacon as the secret author of Shakespeare's writings, and as the secret son of Queen Elizabeth the First, to be published in her planned book. The history portion of the book under review I would give 3 Stars, except for the flaws mentioned below. The fictional story portion of the book I would give 1 Star. The fictional story has an absurd, weak story line plot, and dialogue which is poorly written. Fortunately, the dialogue is minimal, and the story is mostly narrative and commentary. Fortunately, the history portion is more extensive than the fictional portion. The fictional story has a fictional pretense that no one had ever previously researched or published a book about Sir Francis Bacon as the secret author of Shakespeare's writings, and as the secret son of Queen Elizabeth the First, which fictional pretense is Not true, in reality. Both the history portion and the fictional portion contain some pseudo-history, pseudo-science, and pseudo-intellectual nonsense, in the cause of esoteric New Age preaching and Masonic New World Order propaganda, beginning with the pseudo-history of Jesus and Mary Magdalene and the Merovingian bloodline, which seems to be the main purpose of the fictional story line. Basic religious history or theological ideas are introduced without any explanation or context, and the New Age preaching and the Masonic New World Order propaganda is presented merely by assertions with zero evidence. The author seems to confuse Arians and Aryans. The fictional story takes place in the year 2014, and the political and economic commentary is up-to-date. The writing style is like Dan Brown, but the author is missing hundreds or thousands of comma's which should have been added to separate phrases in his sentences. The author stated in a preface that he had originally intended to write a motion picture script, which may explain a few R-rated sex scenes in his book, and a few profanities. It would have been better IF the author had written straight factual non-fictional history, which should have included footnotes, end notes, bibliography, and index, but alas, Not, for the cause of propaganda. Thus, the reader is left to guess the author's book sources for his pseudo-history and pseudo-genealogy propaganda, some of which I have read elsewhere. There are a few photos or illustrations in the book, and a historical Merovingian genealogy chart, and a pseudo-genealogy chart. In an Afterword section, the author gives credit to a few previous writers of the story about Sir Francis Bacon as the secret author of Shakespeare's writings, and as the secret son of Queen Elizabeth the First. It should be noted that I, the reviewer, have believed for many years that Sir Francis Bacon was indeed the true author of Shakespeare's writings.
Good book.
Shakespeare in the raw! Not his plays but the real man himself concealed deliberately by his enemies for centuries. Written as a novel Shakespeare is seen through the eyes of modern day woman in search for truth in her life, and in her thrilling and suspenseful quest she finds that the distant past is linked directly through her hero to today's big business chicanery and the future of mankind itself. Good entertaining reading for anyone, not just Shakespeare buffs.
Love the book. I had read the electronic sample and then wanted to buy, but to my surprise, the electronic version was no longer available; pulled by the publisher. Too bad as I am sight impaired and it's so much easier for me to read via a tablet. Now I am finished the hard copy with a large magnifier so it's cumbersome plus I can't make notes, look up words, or search the web for things I want to review from the book. Love the read.
